Privacy policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Hockey Path is a small, free directory of hockey programs in BC's Lower Mainland. We try to collect as little personal information as we can. This policy follows the principles of British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Who is responsible

Hockey Path is run by Nick Drazenovic, who is our privacy contact. Email: [PRIVACY EMAIL – TO BE CONFIRMED]. Mailing address: [MAILING ADDRESS – TO BE CONFIRMED].

What we collect

Why we use it

We use your information only to check and publish program listings, reply to you, and keep the site working. We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Children and players

Hockey Path is built for parents, guardians and program operators, not for kids to sign up. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and we never publish ratings, reviews or rankings of players. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Listings

Listings show business details that programs already publish on their own websites, such as the program name, area, ages and official link. If you run a listed program and want something changed or removed, email us and we'll take care of it.

Consent

By emailing us, you agree that we can use your information for the purpose you sent it for. You can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to delete it.

Sharing and storage

We share personal information only with service providers we need to run the site (for example, email and web hosting), or when the law requires it. Some of these providers may store data outside Canada. [LIST PROVIDERS AND LOCATIONS – TO BE CONFIRMED]

Retention and security

We keep listing emails only as long as the listing is active, or for a reasonable time afterwards to answer questions, and then delete them. We use reasonable safeguards, such as access-controlled accounts, to protect what we hold.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. We'll respond within 30 days, as PIPA requires. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
